MÁS MONEDEROS/TARJETEROS more cases/card holders

A las mujeres nos gusta tener estuches, sobres, bolsos, carteras, envases para guardar cosas.
We, women, like to have cases, envelopes, clutches, handbags, bags, containers for keeping things in.

Es como una fiebre, o una manía... It's like a fixation, an obsession... 
Y también hacerlos. As is making them.

Si hay poco tiempo, lo efectivo es hacer una serie para: 

1) darme el gusto de hacerlos (son pequeños, se pueden terminar rápidamente, lo que da una sensación de logro que nadie te puede quitar de encima...) 

When there is little time, it is efficient to make a series of them to: 

1) enjoy making them. they are small, quick to finish, which gives you a feeling of achievement that nobody can take away...)

2) tener siempre alguno preparado para dar (no hay que salir corriendo a comprar ni ponerse a hacer de prisa y corriendo) 
2) always have some ready for giving (you don't need to run out to the shops to buy, or make them in  a hurry)

3) explorar las posibilidades de variaciones de un mismo tema (¿Qué es el jazz, sino?) con y sin anilla, con y sin etiqueta, mas grande, mas pequeño, con fuelle, con adorno, con distinto tipo de cierre... 
3) explore the possibilities of variations on a single theme (what is jazz, then?), with or without a key fob, with or without a tag, bigger, smaller, with a gusset or pleat, with decorations, with different types of clasp...

TARJETEROS Card Holders

Los hice hace tiempo, el año pasado... pero no había tenido tiempo para compartirlos. 
I made these a while ago, last year... but I hadn't had time to share them.  

Útiles, para quienes todavía tenemos y usamos tarjetas, y todavía no lo hacemos TODO online...
Sé que en unos años, ya no serán necesarios, pero por ahora...
Useful for those of us who still have and use cards, those of us who do not yet do EVERYTHING online...
I know they won't be necessary in a few years' time, but for the timebeing... 

Hice unos cuantos, en varios colores, y los repartí entre mis amigas.
I made a few of them, and distributed them among my friends. 

Son para llevar esas tarjetas que no son las de crédito, ni documentos tipo DNI o permiso de conducir en el bolso o cartera. 
(Pero ahora que lo pienso...)They are for carrying those cards that are not credit card, or ID, or driving licence, in your bag or purse.
(But now come think of it...) 

En principio, son para las tarjetas de afiliación, los tickets de descuento (que siempre has puesto en otro sitio, no en el que necesitas cuando los necesitas....
In principle, they are for those affiliation cards, discount tickets, etc. that you usually place somewhere else but not where you need them when you need them...) 

Pero ahora que lo pienso... ¿por qué no?
But now come think of it...Why not? 
Si! También para documentos identificativos, cuando sales por un rato y no necesitas llevarlos todos.
Yes! also for those ID cards when you go out for a short while and do not need to take them all with you.

MOMENTOS DE NAVIDAD Christmas Moments

Navidad... Christmas time... 
En esta época de mi vida, es estar con la familia, comer cosas ricas, preparar regalitos, compartir momentos...
At this time of my life, it is being with family, eating nice things, preparing presents, sharing moments... 
Este año, a Luci Santa Claus le trajo una máquina de coser.
This year, Santa Claus brought Luci a sewing machine. 
Y la máquina se vino con nosotros a Mijas, Málaga (para los que no están en España, Andalucia).
And the machine travelled with us to Mijas, Malaga (for those of you who are not in Spain, it is in the region of Andalucia). 
Así que aquí hemos probado y practicado con la nueva máquina.
So we have tried it and practised with it. 

Sólo teníamos unos retales pequeños. Y para probar la maquina había que hacer algo, no solo muestras...We only took with us a few small scraps. and to try the machine something had to be made with it, not just samples... 
Por otra parte, haciendo la compra en un supermercado local aproveché una oferta de cremalleras (cierres relámpago).
Lo mejor de ambos mundos: máquina de coser, tiempo libre y trocitos de tela: la felicidad del patchwork!!
Besides, on doing some shopping at a supermarket I found and bought a set of zippers. Best of both worlds: sewing machine, free time, and fabric scraps: patchwork bliss!!

Resultaron 3 pequeños porta-pequeñas cosas: 2 para los auriculares y uno para tarjetas en un ratito de una tarde lluviosa (20 minutos c/u)
Three small cases resulted in a short time during a rainy afternoon: 2 earplugs cases, one cards holder. 


Para llevar esas tarjetas que no son las de crédito, pero que tienes muchas: de afiliación a la gasolinera, supermercado, farmacia y diversas tiendas. También se puede llevar el carnet de conducir o el DNI.

For carrying those cards  which are not your credit or back cards, but those numerous supermarket, service station, pharmacy and other shops' affiliation cards.  You can also carry your ID or driver's licence.  

Hice un ligero "acolchado" con costuras paralelas.

I did a "light" quilting, with parallel lines.

Caben unas 4 (y hasta 5) en cada lado. Lo doblas y ya las tarjetas no se desparraman en el fondo del bolso.

Four (and up to 5) cards fit into each side. You fold it and there you are: cards do not get scattered in the depths of your purse.

Los mini estuches son para llevar los auriculares, que se suelen enredar y mezclar con otros objetos que se van al fondo del bolso.

The mini cases are meant for carrying earplugs, whcih usually tangle and mix with other objects that slide down to the bottom of your bag/ purse. 

Uno para Luci, y uno para mí.
